Extended stay skilled nursing care
Hillside Nursing and Rehab offers extended nursing care in as homelike a setting as practical. Nursing care is available 24 hours per day, seven days per week. Our Social Workers support the social, emotional, and spiritual needs of our residents. A registered dietician oversees the menu and meals are prepared in accordance with each resident’s dietary needs. Our activity program seeks to involve all of our residents and may include crafts, music, exercise, and current events.

Short Term Post Acute Rehabilitative Services
Our short term post acute rehabilitation program is designed to help patients regain their independence through a comprehensive rehab program. This program focuses on encouraging people to achieve the highest level of independence possible. Our interdisciplinary team consists of a doctor, nurse, social worker, physical, occupational and speech therapists who will create a rehabilitation program based on individual needs. This program is intended for individuals discharged from the hospital who are not quite ready to return home. “This is where you’ll want to call home until you can be at home.”
- Physical Therapy
Our physical therapists address strengthening balance, endurance and mobility training. In addition we provide state of the art treatment modalities (diathermy, ultrasound and electrical stimulation) to mange pain, reeducate muscles and increase circulation for improved healing.
- Occupational Therapy
Occupational therapy promotes independence in all activities of daily living such as dressing, bathing, cooking and shopping.
- Speech Therapy
Our speech therapists evaluate and treat patients with swallowing difficulties, cognition problems, and communication difficulties. We offer vital stim treatments for individuals with specific swallowing problems.
Assisted Living
In our designated Assisted Living Wing we seek to meet the needs of those residents who require some supervision and oversight but who are largely independent and do not need skilled nursing services. We encourage greater levels of participation from these residents and we provide a separate area where they can reside and share life experiences with peers and a devoted and caring staff. While this is an extended nursing care environment, the warmth and personality of home is readily apparent. Nursing care is available 24 hours per day, seven days per week. Outpatient Therapy
Hillside Nursing and Rehab is pleased to provide outpatient rehab services to the residents of our community with state of the art equipment and highly trained professionals. These services can be provided right here in your hometown. |
